The University of Zakho is pleased to announce that the joint project between our university and the Helmholtz Zentrum Dresden Rossendorf (HZDR) which was submitted by Dr. Lokman Aziz Abdulkareem, the Dean of the College of Engineering, was approved and acted by DAAD, the German Exchange Academic Service. This project is an Iraqi-German partnership on Multiphase Flow Research and Training (IGP-Multiflow) within the funding scheme Hochschulpartnerschaften mit dem Irak HSP 2016-2017 of DAAD. The duration of the project is 2 years and the total cost of the project is two hundred thousand Euros. The submission of this project was a great step forward for our university to be recognized by the high ranked international universities and educational institutions and to contribute in the international scientific events. This project will cover training courses for our university staff including doctorate and master students.
